DIY: Christmas Lantern

Create your own christmas lantern(s) in just minutes! They look absolutely gorgeous and can be placed anywhere, given as gifts, or used as centerpieces for your christmas table.


I bought this lantern a few weeks ago from goodwill, and later found out that it’s actually quite an interesting buy – It’s a barn lantern from the early 19th century, which is AWESOME! It’s very rustic and if you know me, you know I LOVE rustic. So I decided to turn it into something I can display on my christmas table.

  • Artificial snow – Buffalo snow flakes are my favorite.
  • Glue
  • Thread
  • Tape
  • Small piece of fabric
  • Christmas decoration of your choice

DIY: Holiday Tree Cones

You find these tree cones everywhere around the holidays. They are the cutest thing to decorate with – they add a nice and filling touch to your holiday decor. They usually cost about $10 – $18 to buy (each), so I decided “why not make them myself this year?”

Turns out they’re actually quite easy to make 🙂
